The laboratories are equipped with the state of the art facilities and are amongst the leading textile testing laboratories. It has secured ISO 17025 accreditation by NABL (National Accreditation Board for testing & calibration Laboratories) for it’s Central Laboratory at Mumbai.

It was originally established in 1988 under the name of ‘Testtex India’ to provide testing facilities and technical guidance to retailers and exporters of garments, manufacturers & processors of textiles and all others with related activities towards quality upgradation and mitigation of day-to-day problems. To cater for the enhanced requirements of it’s esteemed clientele, facilities for eco-friendly testing and eco-labelling guidance have been strengthened, over a period of time. Main aim still being to provide quality test results in a timely manner, so that clients can make the right decisions for the success of their products. Requests for urgent need of test reports, is expedited with personal attention and test reports are e-mailed followed by mailing of hard copies of certified reports.

We use the most up-to-date test methods and participate in their development through membership in American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists (AATCC) and Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS).

We maintain consistent and accurate test results through established Quality Management System (QMS) confirming to ISO / IEC 17025 : 2005, participation in national & international proficiency testing programmes and calibration of our test equipments. Quality is assured by the use of latest published procedures of national and international institutions. Main aim is to eliminate probable deficiency related to man, material, methods, machines and environment. We are equipped to conduct tests as per standards prescribed by American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists(AATCC), Deutsche Institut fur Normung (DIN), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) using imported consumables multi fibre fabrics, detergents etc.
